Lifelong learning and advanced nursing education improve the patient's outcomes. This is by equipping nurses with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide high-quality care, make appropriate choices, and adapt to the evolving healthcare environment. Lifelong learning and advanced education are crucial in providing care according to Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). Application of EBP in care provision involves the utilization of the latest research literature, healthcare professionals' expertise, and patients' information in care provision (Munasinghe et al., 2023). Nurses with advanced education possess excellent decision-making and critical-thinking skills. This enables them to make the best clinical judgments that have a direct effect on patient care. Additionally, advanced education among nurses enables them to specialize in various nursing areas and this enables them to provide the most effective care that meets the patients' conditions.

There exists a lot of research on the importance of advanced education on patient safety. According to Mlambo et al., 2021, nurses value the importance of continuing professional development in lifelong learning and professionalism. Additionally, continuous professional development improves the standards of care provision.

I agree with the findings of the research as I have witnessed that nurses with different qualifications have different care capabilities of care provision. Nurses with advanced degrees have a deep understanding of patient care, are able to solve problems, and have the ability to solve complex health problems. The Christian worldview improves patient outcomes as it emphasizes on provision of care that upholds the self-worth and dignity of the patients. Christianity encourages healthcare providers to provide care that aligns with the needs of the patients and not be judgmental in the process of care. Healthcare providers, adhering to the Christian worldview, should provide compassionate care and provide empathetic care. The worldview encourages ethical and moral decision-making by the healthcare providers and it emphasizes service to other people.
